June 2020

As Covid continued to change everyones plans, including ours did too - as we had holiday planned for this month. However it gave me the opportunity to keep going with the massive task of building the dry stone wall. Finishing the low section at the back of the house and having found enough topping stones for this section I started to sort more stone.

Finally as the wall had got to a certain height not all the stone was having the do the long journey around the house - I could now also lay stone from the higher level. This also meant the wall was now double sided as I was close to ground level.

Other jobs this month have included starting to sort out the under croft (our magic storage area under the garage). As we had some time where we were both free and on 'staycation' a few more jobs got completed in the garden and we starting to pick the rhubarb.
